Cortex ltd is an importer and supplier of Hair care products. We only sell to Hairdressers and strive to give them the best service. Our staff never stops training and self-development is a must to work with us. Cortex ltd is not a large company however it never stops to surprise our suppliers with our continued growth and professionalism. By using the best possible technology available we are able to be very efficient and reap results which otherwise would not be possible.

Infact we are proud to have been the second Company in Malta to arm its Sales reps with palm tops. What other companies saw as an expense we saw it as a good investment to have more efficient reps.

Cortex ltd supports fair trade and never places Hair Dressers under contract. Our customers buy from us because we give a great and honest service with exciting and professional products.

History

Cortex ltd was the idea of Robert Micallef. In 1996 Robert came across a British company, which wanted to export Hair Care products to Malta. A Company was formed with his cousin Ray Micallef and the business started with just 11 products. Business was good but expansion was rather slow due to the limited number of products, which Cortex ltd was representing. Late 2004 after a number of years looking for a new product line a decision was made to expand the number of products, which were being represented. Z.one concept was chosen as the brand to be supported due to the quality and image of its products.

In May 2006 after ten years together Ray and Robert decided to go separate ways. Cortex ltd was bought by Robert who decided to keep Z.one Concept as the main brand while continue to expand and grow with the help of the employees who chose to stay with him. Business really started to grow and in just a couple of months sales began to really take off again.
